We have over a decade of experience providing comprehensive operator training and customer education ensuring best practice for work at any height using access equipment. Our extensive training schedule delivers courses in all elements of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms such as Diesel and Electric Booms and Scissors lifts.
Skylift is to the forefront when it comes to Health & Safety awareness. One of the growing areas of focus is training contributing to increased Health & Safety awareness. Through our involvement with IPAF and listening to concerns within the industry we are placing increasing attention on this area of the business.
The company is registered as an approved IPAF training provider for the delivery of a wide range of courses to suit your individual needs. Our training programmes are offered either at one of our training centres (Dublin, Cork or Limerick), on site, or at your premises (providing the facilities available are suitable).
IPAF Training – An Industry Standard of Safety
Training in the use of work equipment is required by most health and safety legislation and work at height regulations. The IPAF training programme for platform operators was developed by leading industry professionals. It is certified by TÜV as conforming to the international standard ISO 18878:2004 Mobile elevating work platforms – Operator (driver) training. More than 50,000 operators are trained each year through a worldwide network of over 250 training centres. Skylift is one of only three IPAF accredited centres in the Republic of Ireland.
